New Repeater Site Update – Dec 30, 2024

We received the NEPA/SHPO report this morning, and we’re thrilled to share that it’s approved with no restrictions! Wednesday crews commenced clearing the land and conducting a Geotechnical Study to determine the type of soil present on the site. This crucial step will ensure that the tower is securely anchored to the ground, as it’s a 400-foot self-supporting structure designed to withstand sustained winds of 150 miles per hour. Our primary objective is to maintain uninterrupted communications during severe weather events. The tower and its components have already been ordered, and we anticipate the steel stacking process to commence around the end of March. It’s an exciting time to witness the tower emerging from the ground. I’ll keep you updated on the progress of this remarkable project.
