Monthly Club Meetings

Monthly Club Meetings

The Edmond Amateur Radio Society (EARS) holds a monthly Board of Directors meeting where club business is discussed and decisions are made. Members and guests are always welcome to attend.

Board of Directors Meeting

Our Board Meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.

This meeting is primarily focused on hearing reports and updates from the Board of Directors, club officers, and committee chairs. It is a great opportunity to stay informed about club activities, projects, and plans.

Topics typically include:

  • Reports from the Board of Directors
  • Updates from club officers
  • Reports from committee chairs
  • A brief opportunity for member comments at the end of the meeting

Whether you’re a long-time member or just curious about the club, we encourage you to join us and see how EARS operates.

This informal session includes a short presentation and open discussion time, making it a great opportunity to learn new skills, ask questions, and connect with other amateur radio operators.

Club Dinners

In addition to our monthly meetings, EARS hosts regular club dinners to provide a relaxed opportunity for members and guests to connect.

  • Held on the third Thursday of even-numbered months
  • Locations vary at local restaurants

Special dinners include:

  • June Dinner – Held in conjunction with Field Day
  • December Dinner – Our annual Christmas dinner (date and location to be announced)

These gatherings are a great way to enjoy good food, fellowship, and conversation outside of regular meetings.
