Spring Technician License Class

Event: EARS Technician License Class (Amateur Radio Technician License Preparation)
Location: Online via Zoom — link & password provided to registrants (no Zoom account required)
Start Date: Wednesday, March 4, 2026
Duration: 9 weeks, Wednesdays, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Central Time)
Format: Weekly Zoom sessions with interactive instructor-led lessons; all classes are recorded and links to recordings are provided to registrants
Course Focus: Prepares students to pass the FCC Technician Class License exam — the entry-level amateur radio license — using the Gordon West Technician Class book (students are responsible for acquiring their own copy)
Cost: Course is free (exam fees apply separately at the time of testing)
Extras:
• Expect to learn the material needed to answer 26 out of 35 questions on the FCC Technician exam
• Practice exams and flash card resources encouraged (e.g., via HamStudy.org)
